Belles & Beaus Program

Designed to prepare Ellis County high school juniors and seniors for college, the Waxahachie Symphony Association’s Belles & Beaus program provides students with an education in music appreciation, life skills, and social etiquette that will help them excel in life after high school.

Belles and Beaus receive training by area experts in life skills such as Money Management, Interviewing Skills and Dressing for Success, Personal Safety and Social Media as well as classes on Music Appreciation, College Applications and Etiquette. Participants support the Symphony by ushering at concerts and riding in the Waxahachie Christmas Parade.

The highlight of the Waxahachie Symphony Association’s Belles & Beaus program is their presentation at a formal Gala, which includes dinner and dancing. Belles and Beaus are dressed in white formal gowns and elegant tuxedos. This is a delightful, fun, and memorable evening.

Tuition for the Belles & Beaus program is $400 which covers all class expenses as well as a set of Family Season Tickets to the Waxahachie Symphony Association Performances.  The only additional charge is Gala tickets purchased for parents and guests.
