Belles & Beaus Program

Designed to prepare Ellis County high school juniors and seniors for college, the Waxahachie Symphony Association’s Belles & Beaus program provides students with an education in music appreciation, life skills, and social etiquette that will help them excel in life after high school.

Belles and Beaus receive training by area experts in life skills such as Money Management, Interviewing Skills and Dressing for Success, Personal Safety and Social Media as well as classes on Music Appreciation, College Applications and Etiquette. Participants support the Symphony by ushering at concerts and riding in the Waxahachie Christmas Parade.

The highlight of the Waxahachie Symphony Association’s Belles & Beaus program is their presentation at a formal Gala, which includes dinner and dancing. Belles and Beaus are beautiful dressed in white formal gowns and elegant tuxedos. This is a delightful, fun, and memorable evening.

The 2022 Class of Belles and Beaus will begin in September of 2021.  We will announce the date for orientation and sign up in August.  Please follow us on Facebook or check back here on our website later this summer for the announcement.
